I added music response, floating stars and Mac controls to a black-hole visual—so the view moves, twists and changes with the sound.

MUSIC → LIGHT

Light that follows the beat.

I built the software that makes two custom LED canvases—a rectangular spiral and a triangle—move with the music. They trade patterns, change colour and hit the big moments together.

Singularity uses MisterPrada’s visual engine. I added the music response, floating stars and Mac controls. The lighting preview uses my actual software to animate each LED. The music and motion are recorded together, so they stay in sync.

Self-taught.

I’m Shaolin Chen. I help manage operations, finance and accounts at Glory. Working inside the business shapes what I build: tools that make sense to the people using them.

Away from the screen, I run. I ran the Tata Mumbai Marathon in 2025 and have run multiple half marathons. I bring the same patience to building: keep showing up, keep improving.
